Legal notice and privacy

This site is published by Eren Sahbaz, a private individual based in Belgium.

Eren Sahbaz is the controller of the data described below, within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What data:

• Contact form: your name, your email address and your message.
• Direct email: whatever you choose to write to me.
• The host's technical logs: IP address, browser, requested page and time, needed to run and secure the site.

Why, and on what basis: to answer your message and, if you ask, to prepare a proposal (steps taken at your request before a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, and the legitimate interest in answering messages received, Art. 6(1)(f)). The technical logs rely on the legitimate interest in running and protecting the site (Art. 6(1)(f)).

No advertising, no profiling, no selling. Your data is only used to reply to you.

How long: messages are kept for 12 months after our last exchange, then deleted. If we end up working together, the data needed is kept as long as the law requires (for example for accounting). The technical logs follow the host's short retention period.

Who receives it: Resend (resend.com), which delivers form messages to my inbox, and Vercel, which hosts the site. These providers are based in the United States; transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Giving this data is voluntary, but without an email address I cannot reply.

You can at any time ask to access, correct or erase your data, restrict or object to its processing, or receive it in a portable format. Write to sahbazerenn@gmail.com; I reply within one month.

You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels (www.dataprotectionauthority.be), or with the supervisory authority of the EU country where you live.

This site uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

It only stores your theme choice (light or dark) in your browser's local storage. That value stays on your device, is never sent anywhere and only serves to show the site the way you chose. You can clear it in your browser settings.

Bella Cucina, Fade House and ProFlow are fictional businesses, made to show my work. Their names, addresses, phone numbers, prices, opening hours and content are invented; any resemblance to an existing business is coincidental.

Their booking and quote forms send nothing, and their call buttons dial no number. These pages are not indexed by search engines.

The text, design and code of this site belong to Eren Sahbaz unless stated otherwise. Reproduction without prior permission is not allowed.
